"Never Gonna Give You Up"
Can you tell how old one is by what kind of music they listen to? I consider myself pretty up to date with listening to the latest music, top 40 (except for rap, metal and twangy country music). I can listen to Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, PDiddy on the radio but I would probably never buy their cd. As I was deciding what cd's to put in my iPod, I went up to my spare bedroom looking for a cd which I thought I had. I wanted to put "Cruel, Cruel Summer" on my iPod. I knew that I had a Bananarama cd somewhere and thought this song was on the cd. When I found the cd, it wasn't the one with this song. It was another one of their cd's. As I was looking thru the box I came across more cd's from the 80's. I had forgotten about them. So, guess what? Rick Astley ("Never Gonna Give You Up"), Lisa Stansfield ("Been around the World"), Basia ("Cruising for Bruising"), Bananarama ("I Heard A Rumor").......and who could forget Tears for Fears ("Shout") are now on my iPod. Brings back memories, old times.....I really forgot how much that I liked this music. Wonder what these musicians are doing now?

Good for you keeping up with music & technology :O) I think it's things like that that keep you young. My Mum & Dad are in their early 60's and don't have a mobile phone, never heard of an ipod and the computer .... they couldn't even switch one on LOL! The problem is the girls have nothing in common with them and find it difficult to have a conversation so I'm like you, my mission is to keep up with all things musical & technical :O)
Great choice of music by the way. I've 'Been Around the World & I I I too. xXx
You know what's funny Vanda? My mom is 73yrs old and she has a Nano iPod. LOL And, a computer.
She likes Meatloaf, Journey, Josh Groban. She is having a little trouble with her cell......but, she will eventually get there. LOL
Well that's fantastic. Tell her from me that I think she's a star!! What a fab taste in music too, I adore Josh Groban :O)
